“As a Textile Artisan, I am excited with colours, the way they vibrate, and bounce off each other. Silk painting is more thana colour experience, it is an adventure”.
Her career as a textile artist spans many years covering varied techniques. Over 10 years ago she discovered the medium of Silk Painting, and is self-taught, inquisitive and eager to continuously try new ideas. She has been using her skills as an educational tool, sharing her passion and expertise as a facilitator of private, corporate and small group workshops. She contributes to large community projects as an Artist in Residence, as well as conducting personalized silk painting workshops throughout Queensland.
Her vision is to spread awareness and the importance for Creativity in today's world for all ages.
