Meet the Team
Co-founder & Managing Director
G’day my name is Ranald Thomas Gunn McMaster and I am the founder and managing director of the Outback Creative. I have a passion for photography and creative business ideas. This idea is allowing me to harness both passions, while serving the rural and art community. I operate under the business pseudonym of TommyGunn Productions.
Co-founder & Operations Director
Hi my name is Charles Devine. I was born and raised in the bush, on a farm near Moonie in rural Queensland.. I studied Psychology/ Business (Advertising) at QUT, and have worked in media buying for 2 years. I have since quit and are now pursuing a job in marketing, most likely a digital role. As my role states I’ll be working to improve Outback Creatives digital presence in the market, through data and market insights
Graphic Designer and Website Developer
Hey folks, my name is Eddie Grey, owner of thewarehouseproject which is a web and graphic design studio based on the Sunshine Coast. Originally, I hail from a small town called Mungindi which I’m sure some of you have heard of. I moved to the coast to pursue an alternative skill to farming. It was here I went to university graduating with a triple major in Web Design/Development, Graphic Design and Photography. During my time at university I started working on small websites and designing logos, once I finished I started my business where I have been ever since. I occasionally go back to the farm to break away from the city life and to toughen up my rather soft hands.
Publishing Director & Content Writer
Mick Martin is the content writer for Outback Creative, an old bushy at heart he is a published, award winning bush poet performer and writer. Mick grew up and worked on the land, farming was a big part his youth. Mick did many types of work, he was a Rescue fire fighter, Welder, owned and ran Tyre & Mechanical shops, he initiated and ran one of Australia’s first on-line brokerages and is heavily involved in the bush poetry scene.
Writing ekphrasis (verse) for photographers and conventional artists motivated Mick to get involved with Outback Creative. The poetry Mick writes for artists adds value and offers new perspectives on artists creations.
Mick is an old guy by his own admission, his experience is useful when writing content for Outback Creative, his brother is Peter Martin is a celebrated and remarkable artist based in Brisbane. He has plenty of experience dealing with artists. He and his brother eat, sleep and drink art in one form or another.
He is very approachable and is here to assist Outback Creative members.
